MP’s Visit to Cossall Parish

Print Page FriendlyPrint this page

Members of Cossall Parish Council and residents were pleased to be able to show our MP Mr Darren Henry around Cossall Parish during his recent visit.

Mr Henry was keen to find out more about the war memorials in St Catherine’s Church, where not only do we have a memorial to the World Wars, but also to Waterloo and the memory of the Cossall Men who fought there.

As a keen cyclist himself, Mr Henry was also interested in the bridleways and canal towpath that run through Cossall Parish, which provide safe off-road tracks for cyclists and of course for the many horses at livery in the Parish.
