Cossall Parish Council would like to thank the local people from the Ilkeston Wombles group of litter pickers who regularly walk the stretch of canal that runs through Cossall and remove all the litter.
In recognition of their support, Cossall parish Council have supplied two litter pickers with very long 1.8m handles so that they can reach down the canal bank safely when picking litter here.
